Product Manager — Billy
WhatsApp-based AI financial assistant for local bank and cryptocurrency transactions.
- Own product discovery, prioritisation, requirements and iteration across engineering, operations, customer support and company leadership.
- Helped guide the product as registered users approximately doubled, from about 2,000–3,000 to 4,000–6,000, during my tenure.
- Contributed to the active-user proportion rising from roughly 30–40% to 80–90% by combining customer interviews, transaction behaviour and product feedback to find adoption barriers.
- Translate AI-assisted financial journeys, transaction failures and customer trust issues into engineering-ready requirements.
- Shape NIBSS-powered payment and cryptocurrency experiences around transaction completion, failure handling, reliability and support escalation.

Founder & Product Lead — DidiiAI
Pre-launch conversational AI financial assistant for wallet, payment and financial-service tasks.
- Lead 0→1 discovery and definition for an assistant that interprets natural-language financial intent and acts through APIs and financial-service integrations.
- Designed the system flow from intent → clarification → validation → permission → tool or provider execution → confirmation.
- Define the boundaries between AI reasoning, business logic, APIs and deterministic transaction infrastructure.
- Defined safeguards and failure states for balance checks, recipient selection, permissions, provider availability, reversibility and ledger confirmation.
- Coordinate financial-service partners and translate their commercial and technical constraints into requirements and launch priorities.
- Built a series of prototypes, each testing one user or system assumption before expanding scope.

Independent product and software consultancy; full-time from 2020.
- Owned discovery through launch across digital product engagements in fintech, SaaS, e-commerce and logistics, accountable directly to clients, users and delivery teams.
- Designed payment and KYC flows for Nigerian fintech products.
- Redesigned SaaS onboarding around time to first value.
- Led e-commerce checkout experimentation.
- Defined real-time logistics tracking and route-optimisation workflows.
- Evaluated technical feasibility, system dependencies, integration requirements and delivery trade-offs across client products.
